MarvelAngulu, “I think the spiritual father or oversight of the pastor of this church needs to talk to them.”

Exploitsfemi027, “The same people telling us the church has no business with emancipating people politically. It’s just misplaced priorities. Standing for nothing, falling for anything.”

“Gradually, we are diluting the church with worldly songs. It doesn’t matter the title of the drama,” DrTambari.

However, some persons share a different views, “Big_Beeh “I’m not Pastor B’s defender but there was context to this performance. It was a stage play, more like a musical, and different people came to impress the King depicting King Herod in the Bible and how he was merciless, he took off Spyro’s head after this performance. For you to have this recording, it means you watched it and knew there was context to it.”

Timmydennyd, “You all should be calming down. This is obviously a drama or stage play. Your reflex to bash things people is too high fgs.”

In a swift reaction to the controversial performance, Nollywood star and film producer, Daniel Etim Effiong stated that the event featuring Spyro and other celebrities was not a Sunday service but a free-to-register musical stage play themed; #HarvestersNG Fantasia 2023: A Christmas Musical.

Etim, who was the producer of the event, emphasized that it was important to set the records straight.

He added that the event also featured Harvesters members like Spyro, Skales, Dorathy Bachor, himself, and a ton of others.
