Nigerian singer Spyro, born Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, has announced his engagement to Janet Atom, a makeup artist and owner of Beatzby_Nj.
Spyro shared the news on his Instagram page on Friday, posting photographs from the proposal. The setting featured red roses, heart-shaped balloons, glowing lights, and a neon sign that read “Will You Marry Me?”
He disclosed that he met Janet on 30 March 2024 at 2:48 a.m. in a club in Lagos while he was working.
“My world paused as I found love in an unexpected place… I met the answer to my prayers, Janet Atom… and from then till now I have lived every single day a very happy man,” he wrote.
“Thank you for saying YES my sweet J. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Spyro rose to prominence with his 2022 hit song Who Is Your Guy? and has released other tracks including No Gree For Anybody, Billing, For You, and Funke. He has collaborated with Tiwa Savage and Simi.
