Darlyn Morais, a 28-year-old singer from Brazil, has passed away following a spider bite at his residence in the northern city of Miranorte.
Morais was admitted to a hospital on Sunday after experiencing an adverse response to the spider bite on his face, according to Daily reports. He died on Monday Nov. 6, 2023.
His spouse, Lisboa, disclosed that Morais suffered from physical exhaustion and that the bite caused the color of the bruise on his face to start changing.
Later in the week, the singer experienced allergic responses. He went to a hospital in Miranorte, received treatment there, and was released on Friday.
Lisboa stated that, “He felt weakness in his body, and his face started to darken on the same day, October 31. He went to the hospital and was admitted to Palmas General Hospital on Sunday.”
Additionally, his stepdaughter, 18, who was bitten by a spider, is in the hospital right now.
According to Brazilian news station G1, the stepdaughter’s status is stable, as stated by the singer’s spouse, Jhullyenny Lisboa.
At the age of 15, Morais made his debut in the music industry as a singer of forró, a popular music style in northeastern Brazil based on a fusion of accordion, zabumba, and metal triangle. His brother and a friend were in his little three-piece band.
