Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, has on Tuesday 2 January 2024, unveiled an 80-bed hospital in the Imota area of Ikorodu, Lagos state.
Revealing this on his X handle (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, the Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat, was quoted in parts as saying; “The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Tajudeen Abass commissioned an 80-bed Hospital in the Imota community of Ikorodu, Lagos State.
“This hospital project was facilitated by the Golden Boy of Ikorodu, Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
“The hospital was constructed and equipped by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals”.
Commissioning the project, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass applauded Jimi Benson for facilitating the project, and for bringing dividends of democracy to his people.
In the same vain, the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, also unveiled other projects in the state on the same day.
The projects comprised of an 80-bed Femi Gbajabiamila General Hospital in Surulere, Femi Gbajabiamila Conference Centre in Lagos State University, Ojo; the reconstructed Babs Animashaun Road and among others.
