Solidstar quits smoking and alcohol

Joshua Iniyezo, best known by his stage name Solidstar, is a Nigerian music sensation who has recently made headlines—but for a very good cause. Solidstar has bravely chosen to give up smoking and drinking in order to regain his health and vigor, which is a dramatic contrast to his past battles with substance misuse.

A few months ago, an unsettling video of Solidstar strolling the streets aimlessly and in a disheveled state appeared. This video, which Solidstar’s worried brother Joseph shared, acted as a wake-up call for his supporters and well-wishers as well as for Solidstar himself. But the artist has informed everyone of his incredible transformation in a recent interview, saying he is now in a lot better position psychologically and physically.

Solidstar made a very open admission about his battle with substance misuse, which had a negative impact on his wellbeing. But now he openly declares his sobriety, saying he has given up booze and smoking permanently. This choice represents a major turning point in his life, one that he has clearly had to overcome with a great deal of fortitude and resolve.

As he considered his road to recovery, Solidstar underlined the value of honest communication, realizing that his propensity to keep his difficulties to himself only made matters worse. He has been able to face his demons head-on and come out on top by releasing himself from the bonds of concealment and asking for help from close ones.
