Nigeria’s Super Eagles head captain, Ahmed Musa, appears unaffected by the criticism circulating on social media regarding his inclusion in the squad for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).Â

“I notice the comments on social media, but I don’t pay attention to what people are saying. I consistently put in hard work so that my performance on the pitch speaks for itself,” he conveyed to reporters in Abidjan.
“This is the same approach my teammates adopt. People may talk about our players, but I firmly believe we have the best players here, and they are all talented.”
