Popularly skit maker and singer, Nasboi recently spoke out about getting death threats after criticizing Wizkid for making fun of Don Jazzy.
Nasboi had called out Wizkid for his remarks during a podcast called Bahd And Boujee.
During an interview on Cool FM, Nasboi talked about the backlash he faced for his comments on the podcast. He mentioned receiving threats because of his opinion.
He said, “It seems like once you’re famous, you can’t have your own thoughts. But if you’re just an ordinary person, you can. You can say you prefer Wizkid to Davido, and that’s fine. But can’t I, as a celebrity, have the same freedom?”
Nasboi explained that he was asked a simple question on the podcast: Did Wizkid offend Don Jazzy with his comments? He answered yes. He felt the way Wizkid called Don Jazzy an influencer wasn’t right.
He noted that because of his opinion on Wizkid, someone threatened him, saying he would meet the same fate as his deceased brother.
