Nigerian music artists Simi and Adekunle Gold have welcomed their second child.
The child was born on March 10, 2026, according to an announcement shared by Simi on April 1, 2026 via her Instagram page. In the post, she wrote, “+1. 3.10.26. God bless my little family #mommyof2,” confirming both the birth date and her status as a mother of two.
The couple, who married in January 2019, now have two children. Their first daughter, Adejare, was born on May 30, 2020.
Prior to the announcement, Simi’s pregnancy had been indicated in a music video released by Adekunle Gold in December 2025 titled “My Love Is The Same.” In the video, she appeared with a visible baby bump.
To mark the birth, the couple shared a set of photographs, including a black-and-white silhouette portrait and coordinated images featuring denim outfits.

Public reactions followed shortly after the announcement, with messages from figures including Temi Otedola, who wrote, “Beautiful. Congratulations!!,” and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who stated, “Big congratulations fam” along with a heart emoji, amongst many others.
