SHOCKING: Joao Pedro Left Out as Brazil Reveal Squad for 2026 World Cup

Joao Pedro has been left out of Brazil’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as new coach Carlo Ancelotti unveiled his final list for the tournament in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The exclusion of the Chelsea forward has become one of Brazil’s major talking points, particularly given that both experienced players and up-and-coming talent have earned places in the squad ahead of him. Brazil will enter the tournament hoping to put years of World Cup frustration behind them following a number of heartbreaking exits in past tournaments.

As the Selecao get ready for Group C games against Morocco, Haiti, and Scotland, The News Chronicle reports that Ancelotti has relied on attacking stars such as Vinicius Junior, Raphinha, and Neymar. Including Neymar also signals a significant comeback following early-season injury worries.

Brazil’s team combines experienced players such as Casemiro and Marquinhos with younger players like Endrick, who remains in demand following his rapid rise in Europe.

Many Brazilian supporters have high hopes that under Ancelotti’s direction, the five-time world champions might finally regain their place at the top of international football after years of frustration on the international stage.
