Former Kano State Governor and prominent Nigerian politician, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, recently visited Maiduguri, Borno State, to show his solidarity with the people affected by the recent flooding in the region on Friday.
During his visit, Senator Kwankwaso expressed deep sympathy for the victims and the state government as they grapple with the aftermath of the disaster.
In a demonstration of support, he donated a substantial sum of N50 million to aid those affected by the floods.
The donation is intended to provide relief and assistance to the victims who have lost their homes, belongings, and livelihoods due to the severe flooding that struck the state.
Kwankwaso commended the resilience of the people of Maiduguri and the efforts of the Borno State Government in addressing the crisis.
He called for continued support from both the federal government and well-meaning individuals to ensure that the affected communities receive adequate help to rebuild their lives.
