Suspected kidnappers have reportedly killed a former member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), identified as Abba, after allegedly collecting a ransom of at least N10 million from his family.

Despite the payment of the ransom by his family, the kidnappers later informed them that Abba had been killed.
