Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s aide, Ossai Ovie Success has knocked a Nigerian Motivational Speaker, Olemerezi Basil for asking Nigerian youths not to marry late.
Basil had taken to his Facebook page to advise the populace not to toll the path of actress, Rita Dominic who recently got married at the age of 46. Basil emphasized that it’s good to marry early, urging singles not to be over selective in choosing a partner.
Reacting to Basil’s counsel, Ossai expressed displeasure, stating that there’s nothing wrong in getting married at 46.
He wrote:
Nothing wrong in a woman getting married at 46.
Dear Basil, Life is not a competition and no body should be abused for getting married at 46 and above .
We are not GOD and we can never be GOD.
There is timetable for everyone and no matter out plans , God timetable will always overcome our plans .
So when you see someone getting married beyond 40 , be happy and pray for them.
I don’t see anything wrong in that.
