Popular US rapper Rick Ross was attacked after his performance at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver, Canada.

Ross was reportedly confronted for playing Kendrick Lamar’s song “Not Like Us,” which is directed at Canadian singer Drake, to end his performance.

According to TMZ, about 15 men fought Ross and his crew right after they left the stage.

What started as a verbal argument quickly turned violent when one of the men punched Ross in the face.

It is still unknown if anyone was injured or arrested by the authorities.

In May 2024, Ross expressed support for Kendrick Lamar during his conflict with Drake, who then dissed Ross in the song “Push Ups.”

Ross responded to Drake with his own track, “Champagne Moments.”
