Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, has urged Nigerian politicians to take meaningful action to address the country’s challenges, including poverty and poor governance, instead of offering short-term solutions.
He emphasized the need for long-lasting programs that can continually support the people.
Rema also shared that he has been advising Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, on some of his policies during their meetings.
In a recent interview on ‘The Breakfast Club,’ Rema said, “It’s not just about handing out rice. What if some children are allergic to rice? What will they eat tomorrow? It’s more important to create systems that provide ongoing support. We need platforms that can continuously feed, educate, clothe, and shelter those in need.”
This highlights his belief in creating sustainable solutions that can truly make a difference in the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
