Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has chosen renowned Nollywood actress, Rita Daniels, to serve as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Women Mobilization & Empowerment.
This appointment was announced by the actress herself on Tuesday through her Instagram page.
Prior to her appointment, Rita Daniels had been leading the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Women Wing and played a pivotal role in rallying women’s support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the governorship election.
Her appointment reflects the recognition of her valuable contributions to the political landscape.
Rita Daniels expressed her gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for considering her worthy of this vital role and affirmed her commitment to promoting the state. With her extensive experience, it is expected that Rita Daniels will make a significant impact in her new position, furthering the cause of women mobilization and empowerment in Delta State.
