Nollywood actress Regina Daniels appeared inside the Abuja residence of her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, in a video that surfaced online on Friday, September 5, 2026, nearly a year after she left the marriage over allegations of domestic violence.
The footage came from a TikTok live session started by Amir Nwoko, the senator’s son. The stream showed Regina Daniels sitting with her two sons, Moon and Khalifa, and interacting with her stepson. She did not appear aware the session was public until partway through, when she said, “Jesus Jesus Jesus, off it,” before the stream ended.
Neither Daniels nor Nwoko has released a statement confirming or denying a reconciliation.
Regina Daniels left the marriage in October 2025. In a video from October 18 that year, she said, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence; it’s too much.”
Nwoko denied the domestic violence allegations. He said instead that Daniels required rehabilitation for substance abuse, a claim she has not publicly addressed.
The dispute extended to Daniels’ brother, Sammy, whom Nwoko had arrested. Daniels said at the time, “Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!”
A court later granted Nwoko temporary custody of the couple’s two sons, and Daniels said she went a long period without seeing her children.
A separate clip spread across social media on Friday when veteran actress Mercy Johnson posted an old scene from one of her films on Instagram. In the scene, her character says, “You see husband and wife matter, don’t put your mouth.”
Social media users linked the post to the Daniels and Nwoko story once the TikTok video began circulating a day later. Mercy Johnson has not commented on Regina Daniels and Nwoko situation directly, and her post did not reference them by name. She is known to be close to Regina Daniels over the years and has previously sent her gifts.
As of Saturday, September 5, no court filing, legal representative, or official spokesperson for either party had confirmed a change in their marital status.
