Nigerian reality TV star and media personality Maria Chike Agueze has welcomed her second child, a baby girl named Skylar’Rose.
In a touching Instagram post on Saturday, October 26, Maria shared the news with her fans. The post included family photos from her pregnancy shoot with her partner Kelvin Anene and their one-year-old son, Leonardo.
In her message, Maria expressed her gratitude to God, writing, “My whole existence shall never cease to praise you, Lord. If you’re seeing this, my little princess (Skylar’Rose) is here. 23/10. Help me thank the good Lord for all his mercies and love upon my little family.”
Holding a mixed heritage with a British mother and Nigerian father, Maria Chike was born on May 3, 1992, in Owerri, Nigeria and first came into the public eye as a housemate on Big Brother Naija 2021 edition.

Before her fame, Maria worked as an air hostess in Dubai and later transitioned to a career in real estate and entrepreneurship.
Since her time on the show, she has expanded her career, becoming the host of Mums Next Door.
The announcement of Skylar’Rose’s birth sparked series of congratulatory messages in the post’s comment section. Nigerian influencer Enioluwa commented, “Congratulations to you and yours, Maria. God bless your home and your little one!”
Meanwhile, fellow celebrities Bibyonce and Diane Russet praised Maria, with Bibyonce saying, “Round 2 never looked better. Congratulations, gorgeous; a strong woman.”
Diane Russet added her congratulations, calling Maria “beautiful.”
The joyful news comes only a year after Maria and Kelvin celebrated the birth of their first child, Leonardo AmaraNna Anene, in October 2023.
