Premier League: Liverpool Destroys Manchester United at Old Trafford

Liverpool ended Manchester United’s three-match unbeaten streak at Old Trafford this evening with a decisive 3-0 victory, remaining the only club not to concede a goal this season in the English Premier League.

In the first half, Manchester United started strongly at home but conceded a goal in the sixth minute, which was later disallowed by VAR. However, Liverpool responded with a powerful performance, taking the lead in the 34th minute through Díaz.

He struck again in the 42nd minute, securing a brace just three minutes before halftime, with both goals assisted by Salah. By the end of the half, Liverpool had converted two of their three shots on goal into goals and maintained 54% possession, while Manchester United, with 46% possession, managed only two shots on target.

Liverpool began the second half as the better team, piling up pressure on Manchester United, who did not resume the second half with Casemiro. Mohamed Salah made it 3-0 for Liverpool, further increasing the pressure on the home team. Salah scored his 7th goal against Manchester United at Old Trafford and his 16th against the Red Devils overall.

After three games, Liverpool sits behind Manchester City, with both teams having the same 9 points.
