With PoS transactions falling by 22.3 percent to N811.78 billion in April compared to N1.04 trillion in April 2023, the declining trend persisted. The trend was reversible in May, when transactions increased to N868.6 billion, a 16.1% annual increase.

PoS transactions fell 1.3% to N930.76 billion in June 2023, from N943.38 billion in June 2023. But in July 2023, PoS transactions in the nation increased once more, jumping 8.9 percent to N1 trillion from N923.32 billion in July 2023.
