Police Foil Alleged Plan to Spark Violence, Arrest 12 in Plateau

Operatives of the Plateau State Police Command have arrested 12 suspected troublemakers in a swift crackdown aimed at preventing fresh unrest in the state.

Commissioner of Police, Bassey Ewah, disclosed that the suspects were picked up on Friday shortly after Jumat prayers in the Zololo area, where they allegedly attempted to stir tensions and disrupt public peace.

The arrests come as security agencies ramp up efforts to restore calm following recent disturbances across parts of the state.
