Big Brother Naija Season 9 winner, Kellyrae, has opened up about the overwhelming number of financial requests he’s been receiving from family and friends.
In a candid interview with media personality Hero Daniels, the reality star revealed that ever since he publicly mentioned gifting his wife, Kassia, N55 million from his prize money, the requests for financial help haven’t stopped.
Kellyrae, clearly frustrated, pleaded for some breathing room.
“I’ve been getting calls from people close to us, asking for their share of the money after I said I gave Kassia N55 million,” Kellyrae shared. “I’m not a rich man yet, please.
The money sounds big, but everything is expensive these days. Even if I want to buy something as simple as eggs, how many crates will I be able to afford? Please, let a brother settle.”
It’s worth noting that Kellyrae walked away from the ninth edition of Big Brother Naija with a massive cash prize of N60 million and a brand-new car worth N40 million.
