According to reports, seven persons have been killed in a deadly attack by suspected armed Fulani militia on Ratatis community in Dorowa Babuje, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The News Chronicle gathered that the ugly incident occurred around 7:27 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026, also left three residents seriously injured, heightening tensions in the troubled area.
Sources revealed that the gunmen stormed the community and unleashed violence, forcing villagers to flee in panic.
The injured victims were swiftly evacuated to nearby hospitals for urgent treatment, while security concerns continue to mount.
