Nigeria’s newly appointed service chiefs arrived at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja on Wednesday for their Senate screening a major step in President Bola Tinubu’s ongoing shake-up of the military hierarchy.
The top officers, accompanied by senior aides and personnel, arrived at the Senate wing around 10 a.m. amid tight security.
Their screening comes after the Senate moved the exercise forward to October 29, underscoring the urgency to confirm the nation’s new defence leadership, The News Chronicle, gathered.
