Residents of Hayin Mada and other areas of Akwanga Local government Area of Nasarawa have been sacked by flood on Friday 24th May.
The flood was as a result of heavy downpour that led to the submerged of some low houses and other properties.
It was gathered that motorists were also left stranded as the flood also submerged the bridge along Wamba road, Akwanga.
Reacting, some residents of the affected community blamed the poor construction of a bridge in the area for the incident.
Meanwhile, no casualties were recorded in the unfortunate incident, however property worth thousands of naira belonging to the residents were destroyed.
