Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, known online as Peller, has disclosed that his wedding to Jarvis cost more than ₦300 million.
Reactions to the figure focused less on the size of the spending and more on what Peller may have gained from the event. TikTok user Larry_X wrote: “You spend 300 million and collect 400 million house who gain now.” Another user, Armstrong, commented: “You gain pass that 300m Guyyy.” A third user, Bella, wrote: “300 million gone 1 billion recovered.”

On X, user Gbemisola, whose handle is @gbemmy_solar, offered a similar view, writing: “Well ₦300m is a lot of money, but the bigger question is what came back from it. If the wedding generated more value than what was spent, then the conversation changes from ‘he wasted ₦300m’ to ‘he understood how to turn attention into money.'”
Another user, Fidelis Adaeze, pointed to Peller’s earning history as context for the spending, noting that Peller has previously said he earns about ₦20 million weekly from TikTok. Fidelis Adaeze added that the wedding also drew significant public attention and brand support, arguing the ₦300 million “cannot be judged like an ordinary private wedding expense.”
Not all reactions were focused on finances. X user Emmanuel Benjamin questioned the speed at which Peller was already giving marital advice, writing: “Marriage wey never reach 3 days Peller don already become marriage counselor. Okay now. When did ‘300M’ become ‘just’?”
The wedding disclosure followed coverage of the couple’s reception, where the bride, Jarvis, wore a gown designed by Nigerian fashion house Prudential Atelier. The dress departed from the conventional white or ivory bridal palette in favour of a steampunk-inspired black design. The gown was built with appliqué and black cording, featuring structured shoulders and gear-and-cog embellishments.
The gown drew a wave of commentary online. Instagram user @fabjernnie described it as “a work of art,” while @its.giftie called the design “not ordinary.” User @style_by_ruvero simply wrote: “You ate.”
