Habeeb Hamzat, known to millions as Peller, is one of Nigeria’s most followed streamers. He was born on May 10, 2005, in Ikorodu, Lagos State, and built his name on TikTok, where his sarcastic content and energetic live sessions earned him more than 17 million followers and a Best Content Creator award at the 2024 Trace Awards.
This week, Peller revealed that he has more than $70,000 (over ₦100 million) sitting untouched on two of his platforms. His Twitch account holds over $30,000. His Snapchat account holds over $40,000, and he has not withdrawn any of it.
Peller explained why in his own words: “I’m consistent in everything I’m doing, but it’s the one that pays more I’ll do.” He said his TikTok livestreams earn him even more than those two balances combined, so that is where his attention goes.
“My Twitch account has over $30K untouched, and my TikTok streaming gives me more than that every stream. I have over $40K on my Snapchat untouched,” he said.
He added that he does not measure his success by how often he shows up on a platform, but by what he earns from it. “I’m not even consistent, but God is doing it for me,” he said.
Peller first built his name on TikTok and has since won Best Content Creator at the 2024 Trace Awards. He currently holds the record for Africa’s highest-viewed livestream.
His manager, Bosa Lee, has said Peller earns between ₦1 million and ₦2 million daily from TikTok. In one widely reported stream, he made $30,000 in a single minute.

Nigerian streamers are increasingly building on Twitch specifically, not just TikTok. Streaming has become a genuine career path in Nigeria, with creators like Shank Comic, Carter Efe, Peller, SIEN, Enzo, and Cruel Santino leading the space. Notably, Shank Comic shifted to full-time Twitch streaming in 2025.
