TikTok stars Peller and Jarvis held their traditional wedding in Lagos on Saturday, August 1, 2026, and the guest list produced almost as much conversation as the couple themselves.
From dramatic entrances to visible cash gifts, several moments from the day spread quickly online.
Lagos socialite Pretty Mike walked into the venue with a group dressed as medical practitioners, a stunt he explained on social media. He wrote: “They said it’s a sick world out here. Well, as you can see, I walk around with my own team of medical practitioners.” The entrance became one of the most shared clips from the wedding.
Actress Iyabo Ojo, known to fans as Queen Mother, went on stage and placed bundles of naira notes into the spraying box one bundle at a time. Her son-in-law, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, followed soon after and dropped his own bundle of mixed denominations in one motion before hugging the couple. He then returned to his seat beside his wife, Priscilla.
As Peller and Jarvis exited the venue, two men were seen carrying Ghana Must Go bags said to hold cash collected during the ceremony. A man in military-style clothing and a mask walked with them.

Ghanaian fashion figure Nana Akua Addo attended in a wine-coloured mermaid gown with a sculpted neckline and a matching headpiece. She posed holding a red apple, a detail that added to the interest in her outfit. Photos and videos of her look circulated widely among fans in Ghana and Nigeria.
Businessman Cubana Chief Priest attended with his wife and handed the couple bundles of cash during the ceremony. He later wrote on Instagram: “He’s Now A Husband & Soon He Will Be A Father. He’s So Blessed Because He Who Finds A Wife Finds A Good Thing & Obtains Favour From God.”
Content creator VeryDarkMan said he did not attend because of an ongoing dispute with the police in Lagos. He posted: “Happy married life to you guys. And the child you’re expecting is blessed. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it to Lagos. I’ve got bigger enemies in Lagos, and me and Lagos police no be friends.” He added that he had Peller’s aso-ebi with him and had watched the wedding online, saying: “I really love Peller and Jarvis.”
A separate video showed a man being knocked down by a car near the wedding grounds as touts crowded around moving vehicles. The clip drew debate, with some blaming the touts and others questioning the driver’s response. One commenter, akpajosephine, wrote: “What is this, he no just value his life climb a moving car.”
Other guests included Celebrity fashion designers Veekee James and her husband Femi Atere, Prudent Okopi l, who both made Jarvis’ traditional wedding outfits. Fuji musicians Kwam 1 and Sule Alao Malaika, Afrobeats artist Seun Kuti, Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo, Eniola Badmus and Aunty Ramota, content creators Geh Geh and Cute Abiola, and businessman King Ochacho, were among the guests.
Peller has since announced that the white wedding will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, with guests limited to between 80 and 100 people.
He said bloggers will not be allowed, citing the number of cameras at the traditional wedding. “Do you know many people bought asoebi just so they could come and record my wedding?” he said, before adding that the earlier ceremony was still a success.
