PDP Suspends Top Officials Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended four senior officials over allegations of working against the party’s interests.
Those suspended include the National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu; National Organising Secretary, Hon. Umar Bature; National Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade; and Deputy National Legal Adviser, Okechukwu Osuoha.
The decision was made by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) during a meeting held on Saturday in Abuja.
According to the National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the officials were suspended for committing several offences that violated the PDP constitution.
This suspension comes just a day after an Abuja Federal High Court stopped the party’s National Elective Convention planned for November 15.
