Galatasaray on Tuesday night defeated Konyaspor in the semi-final of the Ziraat Turkish Cup to reach the final after a 5-0 demolition of their opponents.
Victor Osimhen, who has recently been linked with Manchester United, opened the scoring for his side in the 26th minute. Lucas Torreira made it 2-0 just three minutes before the end of the first half. In the second half, the game became more intense as Galatasaray went on to add three more goals.
Although Konyaspor pulled one back when the scoreline was 3-0, they unfortunately conceded two more, and the game ended 5-1.
Galatasaray will face the winner between Trabzonspor and Göztepe, who face off on April 24.
Victor Osimhen has now scored three goals and provided one assist in his three appearances in the tournament. This season, across all competitions, he has contributed to 37 goals in 35 matches so far.
