Nigerian singer Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele, known as Oritsefemi, claims he is the godfather to fellow musicians Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido.
He says he was successful in music before they became famous and encouraged them to pursue their careers.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Oritsefemi said, “I had already made money from music when some people were still unknown. I encouraged many young artists like Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido. I’m like their godfather.”
He also mentioned that he supported some female celebrities and even provided a place for them to stay in his mansion in Lekki, including Burna Boy.
