Oborevwori Commitment to Human Capital and Infrastructural Development – Anoka

Delta State Commissioner for Urban Renewal, Engr. Michael Anoka, who also doubles as Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Ndokwa Youth Leaders Assembly (NYLA), played host to the executive members of the group to his office in Asaba yesterday.

In his speech, the National President of NYLA, Comr. Enebeli Ernest Brown, who spoke on behalf of the group, congratulated the Honourable Commissioner on his assumption of office. He also expressed the groups’ gratitude to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, for being a youth-friendly Governor and for appointing one of their own and leader worthy to serve in his cabinet.

Comr. Enebeli mentioned that the visit had earlier been scheduled a few months ago but was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. He however assured the Commissioner of their unwavering support for the MORE Agenda of Oborevwori.

In his response, Engr. Anoka commended the group for taking the time to visit him during this season of celebration. He also salute their courage for standing by him and their visible and unwavering support for the Delta State Governor.

Meanwhile, Engr. Anoka has reiterated the commitment of Governor Sheriff’s administration to engage the youth in governance and to promote massive human capital and infrastructural development across the state.

Speaking further, he also urged the Ndokwa Youth Leaders Assembly to continue supporting Governor Sheriff and to maintain peaceful coexistence to ensure the smooth implementation of the MORE Agenda across board as according to him, it is only in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere that development and progress can be achieved.
