Obi and Atiku’s Meeting Meant To Find Solutions To Challenges Facing Nigerians- LP Chieftain, Tanko

A chieftain of the Labour Party, LP Yunusa Tanko has stated that the recent meeting by the Party’s presidential candidate at the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi with the former vice president and presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, at the 2023 presidential elections Atiku Abubakar and other PDP stakeholders was geared towards finding solutions to the myriads of challenges bedeviling the people.

Yunusa who stated this while speaking on AriseNews on Tuesday 14th May said that the former Anambra state governor’s visits to some northern states during the Ramadan session were a way to identify with the people on the prevailing economic realities.

He stressed that as against negating insinuations from some quarters, the visits by Obi were also timely to change the narrative created in some quarters by getting closer to the people in the north and showing them his detribalized nature.

The Labour Party Chieftain, urged Nigerians to look beyond the immediate benefits they get from some selfish  politicians during electioneering campaigns and vote for a candidate who truly has the interest of the masses at heart.

The News Chronicle recalls that the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party Peter Obi had on Monday 13th May had his first meeting with the former vice president and presidential candidate of the PDP at the 2023 General elections Atiku Abubakar, former governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido and the former Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
