The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the mobilization of prospective corps members for the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream Two Orientation Course. A total of 103,000 prospective corps members are ready for mobilization for the mandatory one-year national service.
The orientation course is set to commence nationwide on Wednesday, 17th April 2024. However, due to capacity constraints of the various Orientation Camps, the NYSC will mobilize the prospective corps members in batches and streams to ensure a conducive and modest environment for the smooth running of the exercise.
Eddy Megwa, the NYSC spokesperson, emphasized that segmenting the mobilization into batches will help decongest the camps and maintain optimal health conditions during the orientation period.
Prospective corps members who will not be called up for the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream Two exercise will receive their call-up letters for the June 2024 Orientation Exercise.
All relevant information regarding the orientation course will be communicated through the NYSC’s social media platforms and traditional media channels.
