NYSC Director General Calls for Closer Collaboration with DSS

Brigadier General YD Ahmed, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has called for stronger collaboration between the NYSC and the Department of State Services (DSS). 

He made this statement during a congratulatory visit to the new Director General of the DSS, Mr. Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi in his office on Friday.

Ahmed praised Ajayi’s dedication and commitment, noting that his appointment was well-deserved due to his history of hard work and passion for his role.

The NYSC Director-General highlighted the long-standing partnership between the two agencies, emphasizing that their collaboration has significantly contributed to the NYSC’s success, especially in promoting national unity, integration, and Nigeria’s development.

In response, DSS Director General Ajayi commended the NYSC for its achievements over the past 51 years, particularly in the areas of human capital development and community service.

He also lauded Ahmed’s leadership, noting his support in securing the safety of Corps Members and prioritizing their welfare.

Ajayi, recalling his own youth service experience, pledged to further strengthen the bond between the DSS and the NYSC, enhancing their shared mission to benefit Nigeria.
