Actress Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi has allegedly had an X user arrested for wishing death on her son a few weeks ago.
Toyin, who has faced online abuse for supporting President Tinubu, is taking steps to protect herself and her family from online harassment.
According to a source close to the X user, Yarlo, he was arrested by Lagos police four days ago for cyberbullying Toyin Abraham.
A friend of Yarlo’s, Reedah, shared details about the arrest and asked for help. She posted:
“Hello, I am Reedah, and Yarlo is my friend. His mom told me he was arrested 4 days ago. The police came from Lagos to arrest him for cyberbullying Toyin Abraham. Please, any help would be deeply appreciated.”
Yarlo and Toyin Abraham had a heated argument on Twitter before his arrest, during which Yarlo wished death on her son, saying, “Your son will soon die.”
In response to Toyin Abraham’s promise to make an example of him, Yarlo said, “Use me as the first scapegoat.”
So far, neither the police nor Toyin Abraham have confirmed the arrest.
