NNL club side, Wikki Tourist of Bauchi changes club crest

Fans of Nigerian club football have in recent times called out football clubs in the country for having poor graphics designs ranging from club crests, match day squad designs, to mention a few.

In reaction to these complaints, it looks like one of the clubs have paid keen attention to fans demand as Nigeria National League football side, Wiki Tourist of Bauchi has announced a change in the club’s crest design. The new design which retained the Elephant has an addition of two stars on either end of the crest with a colour blend of yellow and red.

The Giant Elephants as they are fondly called explained the reason for new features of the club stating that the Elephant at the centre of the crest represents the club’s historic synonymity with Elephant that depicts the Tourism potentials of Bauchi State, while the two Stars at each end represents professionalism and glory as the pillars of the club. The club’s new brand image captures the club’s history and future aspirations.

The NNL side has set the pace for other clubs to follow as Nigerian clubs are been called out to rebrand in every area of the game so as to be up there with their counterparts in other countries in order for the league to attract foreign investors
