NISafetyE to hold Investiture of her 2nd National Chairman

The Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers (NISafetyE), a division of The Nigerian Society of Engineers is set to hold the Investiture of her 2nd National Chairman, Engr. Azuka B. Emeasoba, FNSE, FNISafetyE on Saturday, March 14, 2020.

The event themed Safety Engineering For A Sustainable Infrastructural Development- The Role of the Legislature is scheduled to take place at Le Meridian Hotel (Ogeyi Place) GRA, Port Harcourt at 10 am, would also feature the inauguration of the 2020/2021 National Executives under the chairmanship of Engr. Babagana Mohammed, president of The Nigerian Society of Engineers.

NISafetyE was established on 11th February 2016 by the NSE Council approval and is responsible for finding & Proferring sustainable solutions to Safety problems such as floods/erosions, building collapse, hazardous materials /petroleum products spills/releases, fires/explosions, process upsets, etc and ensuring Public Safety in Nigeria using Engineering by Nigerian Engineers.

The Organisation is dedicated to partnering with the Federal Government, other Stakeholders and organizations to ensure the continuous improvement in the standard of Engineering projects in Nigeria as well as equip engineers and the general public with the required professionals’ safety competencies through workshops, seminars, training/certifications.

Notable speakers at the event are Hon Engr. Chris Azubuogu, member, Federal House of Reps, Abuja (keynote speaker) and Engr. Segun Nicolas Olatunji, MD Tomsey Engineering and Services International Limited (guest speaker).
