As Nigeria prepares to mark the centenary anniversary of its amalgamation, the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chief Emeka Wogu has called on Nigerians to support the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan.
He has also said that nation’s centenary is worth celebrating for it is a good thing that it has reached that mature stage.
The minister made these statements at his office in Abuja while receiving the Nigeria Centenary Celebration Lapel Pin from the National Coordinator of the Project, Mr Chuks Chilaka.
Chief Wogu said, “I urge Nigerians to whom this celebration means more to rally round and support the transformation agenda of Mr President”.
“Hundred years in the life of any nation is worthy of celebration and for Nigeria we are happy that we have attained such an enviable stage,” he added.
