Senate President, Godswill Apkabio has revealed that the country would enjoy availability of fuel in no distant time.
Speaking during the South-South APC Conference, Apkabio noted that after going round the Dangote refinery he realized that by July 2024, Nigeria would become self-sufficient in the production of fuel.
The former governor of Akwa Ibom added that; “As of today, it produces enough diesel and it’s already exporting to other countries.
Same with fertiliser and Urea. So we are getting to that era in the country where we produce what we consume and consume what we produce.”
