The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially outlined plans to organize a four-month CAF B-License Coaching Course aimed at enhancing the skills of Nigerian coaches and preparing them for both current and future challenges.
The program will be open to both male and female coaches, according to the Federation.
NFF Technical Director, Coach Augustine Eguavoen, told thenff.com that the course is part of the Federation’s broader strategy to develop coaching capacity across the country and will be delivered in modules.
To qualify for the course, which will run from April 7 to August 25, 2025, candidates must be active coaches with a valid CAF C-License, have used it within the past two years, and meet other requirements, including proficiency in English, basic computer skills, ownership of a laptop, and a valid Gmail account. Candidates must also submit a medical certificate confirming their physical and mental fitness for the course.
“We are aiming for a maximum of 25 participants. Successful applicants will receive a CAF CMS registration link after completing a pre-course assessment and will be required to pay a fee of N500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira) by March 31, 2025,” Eguavoen added.
It is worth noting that last year, the NFF hosted the first-ever CAF C-License program exclusively for women, attracting 30 female coaches from across Nigeria, including several former national players. The three-module course took place between July and September 2024.
