Amid mounting concerns over environmental hazards, the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA), Kano State Field Office, has issued a stern warning against indiscriminate waste disposal, urging residents to adopt responsible environmental practices.
The renewed awareness campaign took centre stage on Tuesday during the agency’s weekly environmental broadcast on Premier Radio, Kano.

Addressing listeners, the State Coordinator, Dr Lukman Lawan, alongside Engr Usaini Shehi, stressed that proper waste handling, storage, collection, transportation and final disposal are essential for maintaining a healthy environment.
