NDDC Claims Niger Delta Would Change Under Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will develop and turn the Niger Delta region into a zone of development, the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has promised.

At a two-day strategic retreat hosted by the Commission’s board and management in the state of Akwa Ibom, Chiedu Ebie, the Chairman of the NDDC Governing Board, made this statement.

According to Ebie, Tinubu established the board as part of his plans to advance regional development and refute false narratives that the Commission had previously been afflicted with. He continued by saying that the board has chosen a leadership approach that aims to inspire trust in the local populace as well as in pertinent stakeholders.

To restore the regional development trajectory and put responsible development principles into practice, he urged for the reintroduction and re-establishment of coordinated development.
