Nasty Blaq Decries Growing Online Disrespect Towards Davido

Skit maker Nasty Blaq recently expressed his concern over the increasing “disrespect” singer Davido faces online, noting that the level of disrespect has reached new heights.

According to Blaq, people seem to be taking advantage of Davido’s kindness and willingness to help others.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Nasty Blaq posted, “The disrespect Davido is getting is way too much sha, man just wants to help people and that’s all.”

This message came shortly after content creator Korty EO publicly shared her own disappointing experience with the DMW boss and his team.

Korty claimed that after she filmed an interview with Davido, which was initially approved, his team unexpectedly requested that she not release it.

On her platform, she voiced her frustration, saying, “They [Davido’s team] agreed that I should re-edit this video and now have said I must not post the video for reasons I still don’t understand. I am not scared of anyone, but I am wise enough to stay out of battles I’m not equipped for.”

She added that this was not an isolated incident, saying, “I’ve filmed so many artists who eventually tell me not to post the video. If you don’t want people to see you for who you are, please do not come on my show. Stop wasting my time.”

Korty’s post has sparked a conversation about transparency and respect between public figures and content creators, with many questioning the boundaries of online respect and celebrity expectations.
