Nasarawa Varsity Graduate Arrested Again Over Alleged Motorcycle Theft Amid Unemployment Struggles

A graduate of Accounting from Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Habibu Oshafu, has been arrested over the alleged theft of a motorcycle at the permanent site of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia).

Oshafu, a native of Keana Local Government Area and an alumnus of the 2016 set, was apprehended on Thursday, June 18, 2026, by security operatives attached to the university after he was allegedly linked to the missing motorcycle on campus.

He was immediately taken into custody and handed over for further investigation.

Security sources said the incident has raised fresh concerns within the university community, especially as Oshafu had reportedly been arrested months earlier over a similar allegation and released to relevant authorities for further action.

The case is expected to be transferred to law enforcement agencies for proper investigation and possible prosecution.
