Stakeholders of the opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Nasarawa State have drummed support for former gubernatorial candidate, Dr. David Ombugadu, for the party’s coveted national chairmanship position.
The group which made this appeal in a statement issued by Mustapha Ibrahim Umaisha on Tuesday April 9, emphasized the overdue need for representation of the State at the national level.
While lamenting the situation in 2023 prior to the general elections the stakeholders decried that the state’s only advisory position within the opposition party, BOT Chairman, held by Senator Walid Jibrin was ripped off amidst internal wrangling in the party.
