N-Power Beneficiaries Protest in Abuja, Demand Outstanding Entitlements

Protests erupted in Abuja on Wednesday as beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s N-Power programme took to the streets to demand their outstanding entitlements.
The demonstration was led by prominent activist Bello Galadanci, popularly known as Dan Bello, alongside members of his advocacy group.
The protesters converged at the National Assembly complex, calling on lawmakers and relevant authorities to urgently address their grievances.
Carrying placards and chanting slogans, the demonstrators accused the government of failing to fulfill its promises to N-Power beneficiaries, including delayed stipends and unclear disengagement plans.
They urged the National Assembly to intervene and ensure that the rights and welfare of all affected participants are protected.
As of the time of filing this report, there was no official response from the government or the management of the N-Power programme regarding the protest.
