Mohamed Salah Wins the 2023 FSA Men’s Player of the Year Award

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been voted the 2023 Football Supporters’ Association Men’s Player of the Year. The 34 year old was named the winner of the prize at the ceremony which took place in London last night, beating his rivals to the award.

He came top in the contest which also comprised of Erling Haaland, Rodri, Bukayo Saka, Kieran Trippier and Ollie Watkins to clinch the FSA Player of the Year.

It is the third time Salah is winning the prestigious award since joining Liverpool, he won it previously in 2018 and 2021.

With Liverpool this season, Salah has amassed 27 goals and as well provided 17 assists across all competitions for the Reds.

In a short message, Salah said:

“I want to thank everybody for the FSA award, especially because it’s voted by fans,” said Salah. “I just want to say thank you very much, I appreciate it.”
