Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has been voted Liverpool’s Player of the Season for the 2023-24 season.
The 31-year-old beat fellow teammates Virgil van Dijk and Mac Allister, who finished second and third respectively, to claim the accolade for the fourth time in his seven years at Anfield so far.
Salah finished the 2023-24 campaign as the club’s top scorer with 25 goals in all competitions, and his tally of 13 assists was the joint-most within the squad alongside Darwin Núñez. His 38 goal involvements guided Liverpool to Carabao Cup success and returned the club to the UEFA Champions League.
It has been an illustrious career for Salah, who has overtaken Gerrard as Liverpool’s fifth top scorer in history with 211 goals and 89 assists since joining from AS Roma.
