Nigerian Comic Actor Mr John Okafar popularly known as Mr Ibu has been in the news of recent due to health issues.
The family had to call for help from well meaning Nigerians, and as usual Nigerians helped and he is recuperating well.
However, there seem to be dispute in the family over money received and how it has been spent.
Mr Ibu’s wife (Stella Marris Okafor) is not happy about the state of affairs and claimed that she has been wrongfully accused by Jasmine who is their adopted daughter for mismanagement of the funds received and that Jasmine is a threat to her family as she believes that this could ruin her marriage to the actor.
She went further to add that she is ready to face Jasmine who is having too much involvement in her marriage.
All these confessions and explanations is coming after some speculations on the internet pointing to Stella Marris intentions of using the money donated for Mr Ibu’s treatment to get herself a new iPhone 14 as well as a car.
However she said her husbands health is more important and when the time is right she will address the issue:
“Hello, wonderful Nigerians, friends, and well wishes from all over the world. I want to use this medium to appreciate everyone who has contributed to the well-being of my husband. He is responding well to treatment and we believe we shall overcome this health challenge to the glory of God.
“Recently, there have been some malicious lies being peddled against me on social media as masterminded by Jasmine Chioma Okeke who wants to make me an outsider in my own home but God forbid. I will address my family affairs and other related matters when the time is right. For now, my husband’s health is most important”.
This is not the first time Jasmine (Mr Ibu’s Adopted daughter) and Stella (Mr Ibu’s wife) are having issues especially on the internet space. Sometime last year Mr Ibu’s Wife Stella accused Jasmine of dating and sleeping with Mr Ibu and they are using the adopted daughter title to hide it.
Mr Ibu’s family came out to rubbish these claims, saying that they are aware of Jasmine and she is their adopted daughter.
In all these well Meaning Nigerians friends, colleagues and fans of the actor are praying for his quick recovery.
