Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has rated his professional football career a perfect 10, saying he has embraced every moment of his journey, including its successes and setbacks.
The French captain explained that his assessment was based not only on his achievements on the pitch but also on the intensity with which he has experienced every stage of his career.
Speaking to Onze Mondial, Mbappé said he had enjoyed an eventful journey over the past decade, insisting that he had never taken his opportunities for granted.
“If I had to give my career a rating? Well, a 10! A 10, because a career is something you , through both the highs and the lows,” he said.
The 27-year-old added that his career had never been dull, highlighting his commitment to making the most of every experience along the way.
“It’s the fact that, throughout these 10 or 11 years, I’ve never once had a . I never took any of it for granted,” he added.
Mbappé acknowledged that his journey had featured both extraordinary highs and difficult periods but maintained that he had approached every challenge with the same determination and passion.
“I’ve experienced extremes in my career, from incredible highs to difficult lows, but I’ve always lived my career with , never once pulling on the handbrake,” he said.
The forward began his senior career at Monaco before moving to Paris Saint-Germain, where he established himself as one of the leading players in world football.
He subsequently joined Real Madrid, taking another major step in a career that has seen him achieve success at club and international levels, including winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup with France.
